Pakistani minister hails UAE's human resources development programme

Dr Nasim Ashraf, Pakistan's Minister of State and Chairman of National Commission for Human Development has hailed the UAE experience in focusing on human resources development. +Investment on human resources, as the UAE has rightly done is undoubtedly the best way for achieving a viable and sustainable development+ said the Pakistani official during a press conference here yesterday. Dr Ashraf who is on a visit to the UAE said that the Government of President Pervez Musharraf valued the importance of investing in human resources so as to alleviate poverty, illiteracy and other associated problems. He revealed that a National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), was recently established with the government support, and is committed to up-root poverty, health problems and illiteracy.
