Palestinian President credits UAE's support for Palestinian rights

Bethlehem - UAE Ambassador to Jordan and non-resident Ambassador to Palestine Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Amri attended last night the Christmas Eve Mass at the Church of Nativity. The UAE envoy met during the service the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, who commended the UAE's support for the right of Palestinian people to estate their own independent state on its national soil with al Quds as its capital. President Abbas appreciated the role the UAE leadership plays in defending the Palestinian rights at regional and international forums.

Later, the UAE ambassador also met with Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and a number of top Palestinian officials at Bethlehem. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
