Partial solar eclipse can be seen on Friday

Residents will be able to see part of an annual solar eclipse on Friday when its path travels near the country. The main path, a 300km wide track, will traverse half the earth, including Kenya and through parts of India. The UAE will be able to see a partial eclipse between 9.15am and 12.29.pm. The Dubai Astronomy Group is organising an observation event between 9am and 11am when residents are invited to view the event from an observatory in New World Private School in Tawar area.
