President meets Sultan Qaboos

President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan met yesterday HM Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed of Oman, who is on a fraternal visit to the UAE. HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces was present at the meeting held at the Mushrif Palace. They reviewed the brotherly relations between the two countries and the ways to enhance them in various fields for the benefit of the people of both nations.

The two leaders also discussed a number of subjects of mutual concern to UAE and Oman. They reiterated the importance of mutual visits and continued communication for strengthening the fraternal bond. They also asserted that the deep-rooted relations between the two countries is an exemplary model for others to follow. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other officials. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
