President receives Speaker of Algerian National Council

President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received yesterday Speaker of Algerian National Council (Majlis al Ummah) Abdul Qadir bin Saleh, who is currently on a visit to the UAE. HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces was present at the meeting.

Sheikh Khalifa welcomed the visiting dignitary, who conveyed to HH the President, the greetings of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and his hopes for the continued growth of bilateral relations between UAE and Algeria. Sheikh Khalifa also asked Bin Saleh to convey his greetings to the Algerian President and his wishes for the progress and prosperity of the Algerian people. Bin Saleh hailed the development of UAE's parliamentary system that grows concurrently with the overall renaissance of the country, thanks to the prudent leadership of HH the President. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
