Prince Charles visits British School in Abu Dhabi

Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Heir to the British Throne paid a visit yesterday to the British School, Al Khubairat, in the UAE capital city of Abu Dhabi.

Prince Charles who started yesterday an official visit to the UAE was accompanied by UAE Minister of Social Affairs and Head of the Honorary Mission Maryam Khalfan Al Roumi and Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the UAE Edward Anthony Oakden.

Upon arrival, Prince Charles was received by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa and Principal Paul Coackley and teaching staff.

Prince Charles toured the international climate change exhibition which is organized by the British Council in different parts of the world. He was briefed on the sections and objectives of the exhibition.

Prince Charles also toured the Emirates Foundation stand at the school and Mutakamela Energy Resources Exhibition which is organized collaboratively by Masdar, BP and Shell. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
