Crown Princess of Sweden and Duchess of Vastergotland, Victoria Ingrid Alice Desiree, on Thursday launched the Swedish Business Council in a ceremony held at the Swedish Ambassador's Residence in Abu Dhabi.
The heiress apparent to the Swedish throne expressed gladness at visiting the UAE. She further lauded the comprehensive development being experienced by the UAE in all fields.
Swedish Ambassador to the UAE Bruno Beijer stressed that he was keen on boosting relations between Sweden and the UAE in industrial, educational, management and investment fields.
He noted that the launching of the new council in Abu Dhabi is in line with efforts to further boost relations and cooperation between business communities in both countries. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
