RAK Airlines launches Beirut route

RAK Airlines launched here today its maiden trip to Lebanese capital, Beirut. It will fly three times a week to Beirut. Captain Khalid Al Mir, chief executive of operations at the RAK Airlines said that the "Beirut destination is the third one after Dhaka and Colombo". The RAK Airlines was launched under patronage of Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, RAK crown prince and deputy ruler. It will fly to new destinations in the Gulf region, India, Nepal and Tanzania within three to six months. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
