The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has launched a new humanitarian operation in Jordan to help five thousand Syrian families in a number of Jordanian provinces.

The UAE's humanitarian major earlier sent its seventh delegation so far to Jordan to give out five thousand food packages to Syrian families in Amman, Irbid, Ajlun, Ma'an, Al-Mafraq, Al-Karak, Jarash, Al Shajara and Al-Turra and Al-Nuaima. Each package is enough to sustain one family for a month. The effort is being organised in collaboration with Jordan's Red Crescent Society. More convoys are being prepared by RCA in Jordan to carry more aid to meet the needs of an increasing number of Syrian refugees. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
