The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi's Maximus Air Cargo to enhance the logistic support for various relief and humanitarian missions of the RCA targeting victims of natural disasters. The MOU was signed by Secretary General of RCA Saleh Moosa Al Thae and Chairman and CEO of Maximus Air cargo Fathi Hilal Buhazza in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

Al Thae said that the humanitarian efforts of UAE will provide help and assistance to the needy and suffering people across the world, based on the support from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces. He said the humanitarian and relief works of RCA are closely followed up by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and Chairman of RCA. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
