H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, Chairman of the RCA follows up the RCA efforts to implement the campaign being financed by Sheikha Fatima to immunise 2. 494 million Pakistani children in Sindh region in coordination with both UNICEF and the Pakistani Ministry of Health.

At arrival the medical team held a coordination meeting with UNICEF officials and the representatives of the Health Ministry in Karachi to set schedules for the campaign, which will step up efforts in 18 areas in Sindh region at 188 vaccination centres with participation of 402 local support teams to spread awareness among the targeted teams about the importance of vaccination against measles and polio.
