The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) yesterday started distributing clothes to underprivileged children in Senegal as part of the Clothe a Million Children campaign that was recently launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The first phase of RCA's humanitarian effort in different Senegalese cities targets twenty thousand children.

The Secretary-General of the RCA, Dr. Mohamemd Ateeq Al Falahi, said the campaign has been able to reach its target in a record time, thanks to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid yesterday gave directives to increase the number of beneficiaries of the campaign.

Dr. Al Falahi hailed these directives as another initiative to encourage involved agencies to double their efforts and help to deliver clothes to underprivileged children around the globe. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
