RCA distributes clothes to children in Lebanon

Beirut: The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in Lebanon, has continued the distribution of the items of clothes to the underprivileged children in Lebanon.

The esture comes in line with the second phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's campaign "to Clothe 1 Million Needy Children Around the World". The RCA has distributed 33,000 items of clothes to the needy children in Lebanon and the Palestinian and Syrian refugees there.

The drive comes amid flow of Syrian refugees.

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks to the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the sponsor of the philanthropic campaign, for their continues support for the underprivileged children around the world.

The campaign will continue for a week with approach of Eid al Adha. It aims to spread joy and happiness among the needy children.
