Rabat - Moroccan Health Minister Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah has praised UAE's move of sending an open heart surgery team to operate on the needy Moroccan heart patients.

Biadillah also commended the efforts of the UAE Red Crescent Authority and its Chairman Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and their continuous support to the people of Morocco.

This came during a meeting here today with a delegation from the RCA, led by Dr Saleh Musa Al Taei, acting Secretary General of the Authority.

"Dispatching this team to Morocco is in line with instructions of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the RCA to conduct the open heart surgeries in Morocco," Dr Al Taei said.

The visit of RCA open heart surgery team to Morocco is set to boost distinguished relations between the UAE and Moroccan people.

It is also an extension to the humanitarian efforts shouldered by the RCA to alleviate sufferings of the heart patients through rendering free healthcare. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
