The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has received a cash donation of Dh1 million from the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE) in support of the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum' campaign to clothe one million deprived children worldwide.

Hamdan Mussalam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the GAIAE, who handed a check over to Dr Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary General of the RCA, said the campaign launched by Sheikh Mohammed is (a sincere expression of humanitarian approach of the wise leadership outlined by the late Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose footsteps are being followed up by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan." Al Mazrouei noted that such an initiative is familiar with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, urging philanthropists to support the clothing campaign. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
