RCA team continue to implement in Pakistan Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Campaign to dress one million needy children

Larkana: Director of Permanent office of the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) in Islamabad, Hamad Abdullah Al Ali, employees and volunteers, have continued their field visits to the towns of southern Sindh Province in Pakistan, to implement the second phase of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Campaign to dress one million needy children around the world.

The campaign was launched by the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The RCA office in cooperation with the UAE's Consulate General in Karachi distributed the clothes to 2, 000 children in Larkana town and 2, 000 clothes to children in Qamber Kot town in the presence of the local officials.

Administrative official in Larkana thanked the UAE leadership for the humanitarian work that has eased the suffering of people, appreciating the gift from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.

For his part, Al Ali said the RCA extends the assistance to the needy categories in Pakistan, and was keen to tour the poorest areas in Sindh region to distribute the clothes there. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
