A team from the UAE's Red Crescent Authority (RCA) during a recent visit to Jordan viewed firsthand the living conditions of Syrians who were displaced to the neighbouring country by violence in their home country. RCA's team which was led by Secretary General Dr Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi said "the visit emphasises the keen interest the leadership shows in extending a helping hand to Syrian brothers and providing moral and material support to them." The visit, he added, also aims to evaluate the needs of the Syrian refugees to work on providing shelters, food, medicine, blankets, heating and shelters for them to improve their humanitarian conditions. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
