The UAE Red Crescent Society (RCS) has delivered relief transported by air by the Emirates Scouts Society to Pakistan's Edhi Foundation. The relief supplies will be distributed to victims of the earthquake that hit Pakistan recently. The delivery was made by RCS delegation in Pakistan, headed by Fahd Abdul Rahman bin Sultan.

The items consist of 50 tents, 30 bed mattresses, 1500 blankets, 100 food parcels, dates and clothing that could meet the needs of 100 families for more than 10 days.

"We are grateful for the marvellous efforts being exerted by the UAE Red Crescent Society to alleviate the suffering of our people. We are equally appreciative of the aid provided by the Emirates Scout Society for airlifting this aid to Pakistan,” said Mohammed Rasheed, regional director of Edhi Foundation.
