The 29th UAE aid plane will fly to Kabul tomorrow as part of the UAE Red Crescent Society's airbridge to help the Afghan people. The plane will carry 40 tonnes of relief supplies and equipment of the RCS office in Kabul which will be officially opened during the Week. Director of the office Ali Obaid Al Za'abi will also leave onboard. Saleh Mohammed Al Mulla, Deputy RCS Secretary General for Foreign Affairs, said the Kabul office would run major operations due to the deteriorated human situation in Afghanistan as a result of recent events. 'The office will supervise RCS's various health, educational, social and religious operations in Afghanistan. Focus will be on refugees' repatriation projects,' he added.
