Gaza - The UAE Red Crescent Society, RCS, has handed over charge of the renovated houses that it has funded in Gaza. According to Yousef Al Haddad, RCS Director at the Gaza office, about twenty families were left homeless as a result of the Israeli attack on Al Daraj area. In a quick response, Al Haddad said, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the RCS, announced the readiness of the RCS to rebuild the affected area and to provide shelter to the affected families, adding that Sheikh Hamdan directed the RCS office in Gaza to provide aid to those families, which was implemented at a total cost of $ 32,000.
