RCS sends humanitarian assistance to Muslim countries

The UAE Red Crescent Society, RCS, has delivered by sea humanitarian assistance, including a large quantity of date and a number of ambulance, to some Arab and Muslim countries, including Mauritania, Sudan, Yemen and Pakistan According the RCS' Deputy Secretary General for External Affairs, Saleh Mohammed Al Mulla, the gesture was part of the RCS' efforts to reach out to the poor and the needy in various parts of the world. He reiterated the RCS' commitment to exert more efforts to achieve its noble and humanitarian objectives. He said the RCS had delivered to Mauritania 40 tons of date and an ambulance, adding that it had also delivered to Somalian refugees in Yemen 50 tons of date and an ambulance, while another ambulance had been delivered to the Pakistani Red Crescent Society.
