RCS sends relief to drought affected-families in Yemen

The UAE Red Crescent Society, RCS, has sent humanitarian assistances for the relief of families inflicted by drought in the governorate of Lahj in Yemen . Dr. Saleh Al Taei, Director of the RCS Emergency and Relief Department ,said this step came in the framework of the Society's keenness to help the poor and needy sectors affected by various catastrophes. He confirmed that the RCS had sent assistances to 74 families hit by drought in Al Saraya area in Lahj governorate as well as 220 families in Al Kalouah district adding that the RCS would continue sending relief aid to some Yemeni governorates through its charitable and humanitarian projects.
