Sana'a - A round 63 doctors and paramedics from various health facilities in Yemen have undergone medical training during a workshop organized by the UAE Red Crescent Society's arm Training Without Borders Foundation.

Dr. Majed Al Junaidi, Yemeni Health Ministry Under Secretary, hailed the training initiative as a shining example for joint cooperation and exchange of expertise among Arab countries.

'The UAE week-long training workshop fits into the strategies and plans launched by the Health Ministry in Yemen to establish a mechanism for creating a well-qualified medical cadre trained on the international best practices,'he added.

He unveiled that the Ministry would invite the UAE medical training team to organize another two workshops for leaders in the health sector. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
