Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and members of the reconstituted Abu Dhabi Executive Council, yesterday renewed their allegiance to the UAE leadership and conveyed their profound gratitude to President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for caring so much about the council and for his trust in it.

This came in a statement issued by the Council's general secretariat at the beginning of its session this morning following the reconstitution of the council under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mohammed.

The members of the reconstituted council expressed their determination to work in unity and stand firmly behind the wise leadership of Sheikh Khalifa in the march towards the country's progress and prosperity seeking guidance in the policies and approaches of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. "The trust that entrusted to us by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi would continue to light our way as we work under his directives and wise policies aimed at achieving comfort and prosperity for the country and its people,” the statement said.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the new members of the council and urged them to exert all efforts and experience for the progress, prosperity and comfort of their people. He thanked the former chairman and members of the council for a job well done in improving the quality of services in the Abu Dhabi emirate. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
