The X-Fighters are back! It's been the talk of the town among FMX fans in the region as the 2012 Red Bull X-Fighters season returns to Dubai for the second consecutive year on Friday.The opening round of Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Rashed Al Maktum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, at The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence. The Tour is also supported by du, as part of its entertainment platform ‘du Live!'.The stars of the night are the 12 ‘Knights', who are back to excite the crowd with thrilling FMX tricks. Defending champion Dany Torres, of Spain, is one to watch as is Matt Rebeaud from Switzerland, who returns to the competition three years after suffering a leg injury. Rebeaud was Red Bull X-Fighters Champion in 2008, as well as X-Games Champion.Another returning rider is Dubai's 2011 finalist, Andre Villa, of Norway, who is desperate to win after a bad fall in Poland last year.Levi Sherwood, or ‘Rubber Kid' as he is also known, is expected to compete for the title, while Australian rider Josh Shehan, known for his famous double backflip, and Spanish rider Edgard Toronteras, the legend of freestyle motor biking, will also take part in front of 20,000 cheering fans. – Sports 360°
