Red Crescent provides aid to Palestinians in Syrian

Damascus - Khan Danoun camp at the outskirts of Damascus, the Syrian capital, witnessed a ceremony for the occasion of distributing financial aid by UAE Red Crescent to Palestinian refugees in Syria under the supervisor of UAE embassy in Damascus and United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

At the outset of the ceremony , Yousof Al Midfae , the UAE ambassador to Syria , thanked the Red Crescent for the good efforts it exerts in helping the needy people , the thing that goes in line with the directive of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his brother General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the follow- up of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority, hoping that such humanitarian activates would continue and extend to include to cover other areas .
