Reem Al Hashimi hails UAE-Australian ties

Melbourne - UAE State Minister Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi, said that the UAE was keen to develop the bilateral relations with Australia. Al Hashimi, who is also head of the UAE official delegation taking part at the two-day Australia -Arab Business Forum and Expo 2011 in Melbourne, added that within short time both countries have strengthened their relations in a number of fields, among others, the trade, economy and culture.

She underscored that the two countries were interested in furthering the relations in fields of agriculture, animal production, technology and tourism. This came during her inauguration of the forum organised by the Arab-Australian Chamber of Trade and Industry in Melbourne. The UAE delegation will discuss ways to strengthen economy, exchange expertise and open new avenues of cooperation. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
