Ruler of Sharjah orders allocation of Dh20 million for emergency housing cases

H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah, has ordered the allocation of Dhs20 million the emergency housing cases in the emirate of Sharjah. He instructed that the new budget will be under supervision of the Department of Housing in the emirate of Sharjah to rent alternative houses against dilapidated ones or those inappropriate for residency.

Sheikh Sultan called in a phone conversation 'direct line' broadcasted by Sharjah Radio and TV, for setting up a plan to build houses to meet accumulated applications. He pledged to follow up the issue personally. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
