Beginning from next year, motorists involved in minor traffic accidents will be asked to pay Dh300, instead of the current Dh500, to get the services of the Saaed, a company delegated to handle minor traffic mishaps in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. A nominal fee of Dh50 will be charged to get a report and diagram in accidents caused by unknown persons, according to a statement from Saaed. Chairman of Saaed Company and Director of Traffic Engineering '&' Safety Col. Husain Ahmed Al Harithy said that the new decision to reduce charges was taken as per directives from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to help people with limited resources. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
