Saif Bin Zayed asserts UAE's keenness to strengthen security cooperation among GCC states

The UAE delegation headed by HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, participated in the twenty-eighth meeting of the Ministers of the Interior in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, held today in Muscat under the chairmanship of Sayyid Saud bin Ibrahim bin Saud Al Busaidi, Omani Minister of Interior.

Sheikh Saif asserted the keenness of the United Arab Emirates to promote security cooperation between the GCC states and emphasised the joint coordination and consultation to help achieve the aspirations and hopes of the peoples in the region.

In a statement made on the occasion of the meeting, Sheikh Saif hailed the efforts of the GCC countries to consolidate and develop the areas of security cooperation in order to achieve more results that support to achieve security, progress and well-being in the region. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
