UAE nationals travelling to the Republic of Senegal will no longer need to apply for a visa in advance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced yesterday.

Under the new rules, holders of diplomatic, official and regular passports will be allowed to stay in the Senegal for up to 90 days.

Ahmed Saeed Al Dhahiri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Consular Affairs, said that the Ministry has received a Memorandum containing the decision from the Senegalese government, which was entered into force on Monday.

Al Dhahiri said that the decision confirms the growth of bilateral relations between the UAE and Senegal, so as to enhance future mutual cooperation between the two countries in all fields. - Emirates News Agency, WAM – http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395298429540.html
