Rabat - A kind gesture by H.H. A ceremony was held yesterday to hand over the mobile clinic to the MSS in presence of Saeed Humaid Al Jari Al Kutbi, UAE Ambassador to Morocco, Hassan Al Omrani, Governor of Rabat '&' Under Secretary of the Moroccan Health Ministry.

The mobile clinic features state-of-the-art eye surgery and sterilisation for patients with special needs, especially in remote areas of Morocco. Al Kutbi said that the initiative came within the framework of "special relations between the UAE and Morocco." He praised the gesture of Sheikha Fatima which was highly appreciated by the Moroccan people.

Professor Mustapha Al Azouzi, Head of the MSS, said the clinic was the second to be presented to the Society by Sheikha Fatima as part of a grant valued at 1.5 million Moroccan Dirhams. "Some 4,000 people have so far benefitted from the services of the first mobile clinic, launched in March 2007," he added.
