Fireworks will be lighting up the skies over Al Qasba as Sharjah's favourite tourist destination starts Eid Al Adha celebrations this weekend. Al Qasba Street Carnival will be the highlight.

Performances such as Clown Symphony Act, acrobats, stilt-walkers, jugglers and unicyclists, will fill the walkways of Al Qasba between 6pm and 10.30pm each evening during the Eid holidays.

Any children inspired by the antics of the street performers will also get the opportunity to try it out for themselves. As part of the carnival, a circus workshop will be hosted, during which children will be able to learn a variety of traditional circus skills. The workshop will feature five separate stations, including classes on tight wire walking, juggling, the art of the balloon cart, face painting and more. – Khaleej Times
