His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday opened the Dh370 million Royal Hospital in Sharjah.
Attending the opening ceremony were Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Chairman of the hospital's board of directors, and Health Minister Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, in addition to other Sheikhs and senior officials.
Sheikh Sultan praised the efforts made to set up the state-of-the art 160-bed hospital, saying that it will add value to the healthcare services in the country. He also expressed the hope that the hospital will play a vital role in the provision of treatment of chronic diseases and performing critical surgeries. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
