The world's biggest passenger jet, the Airbus A380 super jumbo, flies over the Burj Al Arab. It was the plane's maiden flight to the Middle East, a day before the opening of the Dubai Airshow. The 600-seater was flown in especially for the exhibition. Emirates airline is scheduled to begin receiving the first of its 45 A380s in 2007. three configuration has been orders; a long-range three-class 489 seater; a medium-range three-class 517 seater; and a medium-range two-class 644 seater. The airline's A380Fs will be three-deck freighters with a 150-tonne (330,000 pounds) capacity and a range of 10,400 kilometres, said a statement from the company. (The Emirates Today)
