Tahnoun bin Zayed receives Syrian Deputy Premier

Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Emiri Aviation Authority received in Abu Dhabi yesterday Dr Abdullah Al Dardari, Syrian Deputy Prime Minister for economic Affairs, who is currently on a visit to the country. Sheikh Tahnoun briefed the Syrian official and his accompanying delegation on the major property projects being developed at the Reem Island.

Sheikh Tahnoun said that the current projects will help boost the development drive witnessed in Abu Dhabi under the wise leadership of President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and in line with the directives of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Dr Al Dardari praised the strong fraternal ties between the UAE and Syria, the foundation of which was laid by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late President Hafiz Al Asad. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
