Tanzanian Vice President, has praised President H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for his serious commitment to environmental and wildlife protection. Dr. Ali Mohammed Sheni, who is currently on a visit to the UAE, said during a familiarisation tour of the Sir Bani Yas Island yesterday that Sheikh Zayed had achieved what seemingly looked impossible to achieve by providing a conducive climate and environment for all types of wild animals brought from their natural habitat, including those from Africa.

He lauded the good relations between the UAE and Tanzania and urged for the need for the two countries to share experience and expertise in the field of tourism and environmental protection. The Island boasts of more than 60,000 animals of various kinds and species, in addition to hundreds of fruits trees and birds. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
