Tawazun to showcase UAE-made hunting and sporting products at this week's anticipated ADIHEX

Visitors to the forthcoming Abu Dhabi International Hunting '&' Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) will be able to see for themselves the latest developments in home-grown hunting and sporting technology, thanks to Tawazun Holding.

The exhibition, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, will play host to a showcase of products from four Tawazun Holding subsidiaries - Caracal International, Caracal Light Ammunition (CLA) Tawazun Advanced Defence Systems (TADS), and Merkel.

Each company will present its latest products, all of which have been designed and/or made in the UAE, using UAE hands.

Caracal International the small arms manufacturer which develops and produces a wide range of modern firearms will be showcasing a variety of its pistols as well as CSR and CC10 rifles. Caracal Light Ammunition (CLA) the small ammunitions manufacturer will be showcasing its shot shell cartridges as well as ammunition for 9mm, 5.56mm, 7.62mm and 12.7mm calibres.

Tawazun Advanced Defence Systems (TADS) the long-range rifle designer, developer and manufacturer will be showcasing a number of its sporting and defence rifles including: the KS-11 rifle, and the modified KS-11M rifle Merkel, the world famous rifle and shotgun manufacturer, will showcase its RX Helix rifle which was famously inspired by H.H. Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and dubbed by industry experts as the hunting rifle of the 21st century'. Merkel will also be showcasing a number of luxurious custom made Meisterstück hunting rifles as well as traditional handcrafted shotguns and Africa side-by-side rifles.

ADIHEX is the premium dedicated hunting, equestrian and outdoor sports exhibition in the region and is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers' Club. Held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 5th to 8th September, the event is expected to attract 100,000 visitors from across the region. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
