Music filled the air and dancing followed as children put on a regal show yesterday at Al Noor Centre for Children with Special Needs for Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and special guest, the Duchess of Cornwall.

Camilla, Prince Charles' wife, visited two education facilities in a whirlwind tour of Jumeirah and Academic City.

Princess Haya, the patron of Al Noor Centre, toured the premises with Camilla after attending a fun fashion show and Indian folklore dance. The show was put on by about 25 students from Al Noor.

Camilla spent time speaking to a number of pupils, shaking hands and greeting their teachers.

Primary and secondary school pupils at the Dubai English Speaking School in Academic City also welcomed the Duchess of Cornwall. She unveiled a memorial plaque, marking the official opening of the school. (Gulf News)
