Thousands of people in Palestine have continued to flock to a number of mosques, where Iftar meals are being provided by the UAE Red Crescent Society (RCS). The meals are paid for by President H.H Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Khalifa Nasser Al Suweidi, RCS Chairman of the Board of Directors said the RCS provided over 15,000 Suhoor meals for the first time in the grand square of Al Aqsa mosque during the Leilat Al Qadr. Over 400,000 worshippers had their share in the meals and also extended their thanks and gratitude to President Sheikh Zayed for his generosity, said Al Suweidi. (The Emirates News Agency, WAM)
