Tremor in Fujairah

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology said yesterday that stations linked to the national network for seismological monitoring recorded a tremor measuring 3 on the Richter scale about 24 km south-west of the city of Fujairah and 10 km east of Hatta this afternoon. An announcement from NCMS said that a section of the inhabitants in the neighbouring areas of the epicentre felt the slight tremor that took place at 5.19pm local time. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
