Tunisia condemns Kandahar terrorist attack, backs UAE in fight against terrorism

TUNIS: Tunisia has condemned the terrorist attack in Kandahar, Afghanistan, which killed a group of Emiratis tasked to carry out the humanitarian, educational and developmental projects there.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it strongly condemns "this cowardly terrorist act and confirms its solidarity with the UAE government as well as supports its efforts in the fight against terrorism."

It renewed its call for the international community to intensify efforts to confront terrorism that targets the security and stability of states.

Tunisia offered its sincere condolences to the UAE Government and wished the injured speedy recovery. – Emirates News Agency, WAM -
