Islamabad - A UAE Armed Forces plane later Monday evening transported two Pakistanis back home after receiving medical treatment in the UAE. Mohammed Mushtaq and Taslim Bibi, underwent a surgery operation in UAE hospitals following multiple injuries they suffered on their legs as a result of the devastating earthquake which hit on October 8 Pakistan, Afghanistan and India, killing and maiming tens of thousands of people.

The two have been transferred to the Balakot field hospital where they will be on admission throughout the recuperation period. Also aboard the plane was a team of medical personnel from the UAE Armed Forces, who arrived here to join the medical team at the Balakot field hospital, which is to be expanded to meet the growing number of patients, who are being brought in from remote areas affected by the earthquake.
