Two UAE relief planes arrive in Yemen

Two UAE relief planes, yesterday arrived at Hodeidah Airport in Yemen, within the Red Crescent Authority's (RCA) air bridge to support the affected in northern Yemen. This gesture comes in implementation of the directives of President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the support of H.H General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the follow up of H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of Ruler in Western Region and Chairman RCA. The "Third and Fourth" relief plane included 74 tonnes of food supplies, tents, blankets and other shelter materials as well as medicines, garments and an electric generator. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
