UAE Beach Soccer National Team wins 3-2 against Tahiti National Team

The UAE Beach Soccer National Team has won 3-2 against Tahiti National Team, in its first match held yesterday within the 1st edition of "The Beach Soccer Continental Cup" competitions.

The Beach Soccer Continental Cup is held under the patronage of H. H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council from 30th Oct. to 3rd Nov. 2012 at Festival City Mall here in Dubai with the participation of Elite International Teams.

The Brazilian Coach, Marcelo Mendez has hailed the teams' dedication and perseverance that lead to its victory against its Tahitian peer.

For his part, Team Manager Bakhit Saad said that "The Team players have successfully carried out the game plan for the meeting and emerged out victorious. " He also praised the Tahitian team's performance during the past period, particularly during the preparations to host the next FIFA World Cup 2013. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
