UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry calls for supporting National Committee for Expo 2020

Saada Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry has called for doubling the efforts to support the National Committee for Expo 2020 so as to get the largest number of votes of the 161 States members of Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) to win the bid to host World Expo 2020 in Dubai.

Al Rumaithi said there are many investment opportunities in the UAE in different sectors, especially in the trade sector, citing the growth forecast of UAE economy, which painted positive picture of the economy growth- this reflects huge confidence in the business environment in the UAE.

He reiterated the role of federation of chambers in supporting the business community, noting that the federation of chambers fully backs the UAE's bid to host World Expo 2020. Al Rumaithi said the federation of chambers will address the GCC, Arab and foreign chambers of commerce and industry to support the UAE's candidacy to host World Expo 2020. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
