UAE-RCA distributes humanitarian aid in Pakistan's Baluchistan province

Quetta (Baluchistan) - UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has distributed humanitarian aid to five thousand families in Pakistan's Baluchistan province. The aid comes in the framework of UAERCA program to help people affected by heavy flooding in Pakistan last summer.

RCA delegation distributed the relief items to affected families in cooperation with the representative of UAE consulate in Karachi in the presence of representative of Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), and representative of governor of Baluchistan. Each family received basic food supplies in addition to blankets and other household needs. Head of the RCA team, Saleh al Jabri said that the humanitarian aid includes 500 tons of food supplies. The benefited families in a statement to Emirates News Agency (WAM) expressed their appreciation to the UAERCA for the noble cause to help themselves. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
