UAE Embassy in London issues statement on Guardian article

London - The UAE Embassy in London issued a statement regarding the allegations published today in the Guardian newspaper, which said that Emirati diplomats in UK have been responsible for trafficking domestic staff into Britain. The statement said: "The United Arab Emirates Embassy is not aware of any allegations against our diplomats. Therefore, we are not able to comment on this subject".

"In the event of any allegations of criminal activities against our diplomats, we will look into it with utmost seriousness. If we receive an official notification in this regard, we will conduct an investigation and cooperate with the concerned authorities". - Emirates News Agency, WAM
