UAE Embassy in Pretoria supervises over iftar project in a number of African countries

The UAE Embassy in Pretoria, has supervised over iftar project, sponsored by the Khalifa bin Zayed Charity Foundation in conjunction with the Islamic organisations in South Africa, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

The embassy also supervised over another iftar project sponsored by the Sharjah Charity Organisation. It also distributed dates supplied by the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA).

The iftar project is a humanitarian project initiated by the UAE charity organisations in Ramadan to ease burden and suffering on the needy people.

UAE Ambassador to South Africa Ismail Obaid Al Ali thanked the Khalifa Foundation, the RCA and the Sharjah Charity Organisation for their unlimited humanitarian contribution. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
