Berlin - Germany's University of Osnabruk hosted UAE Minister of State Maitha Al-Shamsi as a speaker at the ProfessionElle 2010, a specialised meeting on women and professions aimed at supporting women in the field of science and technology.
In her speech, the minister conveyed the goodwill messages from our President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahayan and His Highness the Vice President and Prime Minister and the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, who have articulated the desire for the UAE to become a knowledge-based society. Our leaders are always looking for countries like Germany for supporting our efforts in acquiring new knowledge.
